Surgi-Cream has provided complete satisfaction and effectiveness to millions of customers since 1957.

Surgi-Cream started out as a product developed for use by hospitals and doctors to remove hair prior to surgery. Back when it was first developed, shaving was a more difficult task and using Surgi-Cream was easier and safer than a straight razor or even the old Gillette Blue Blade. Even today there are times when Surgi-Cream is still used in hospitals. After gaining such a great reputation within the medical field, Surgi-Cream moved very quickly to the beauty salon and beauty supply circuit and quickly became a little extra service that a hairdresser would offer her client.

Based on the success in the beauty area, Surgi-Cream became one of those re-distributed items that went into the drugstore. These successes along with the quality of Surgi-Cream are what brought the product into major retail distribution.

Today, as we are all aware, Surgi-Cream is one of the top selling depilatories in both beauty and retail and is still used in the medical field. That is why each and every package of a Surgi product has a medical symbol on it.
